American Fence Company is Growing with Sioux City

Sioux City’s Convention Center is a wonderful venue that has hosted a lot of great events over the years. With the addition of a brand-new hotel downtown, there will now be even more places for out-of-town folks to stay, as well as an additional ballroom, a second-story parking deck and some additions onto the convention center.

The new hotel will be a Courtyard by Marriot hotel that five stories high and will contain 150 rooms for guests. The ballroom is 7,500 square feet and will be shared between the hotel and the Convention Center. The ballroom will bring in a new variety of events that lean more upscale, including weddings and charity events.

The goal of this project is to allure more people from out of town with appealing venue spaces and additional lodging. This will push additional money into Sioux City’s economy, helping it grow and prosper. While the ballroom in the new hotel will attract more classy, high-end events, the updates to the Convention Center will attract even larger events. It’s important that not only are these venues available, but that plenty of rooms are available to hold this larger crowd.
